The first domestic and international schedule of the Yangtze River Delta China Europe freight train departs from Yiwu, Zhejiang

On June 15th, the X8188 China Europe freight train departed from the Yiwu West Railway Station in Yiwu, Zhejiang, and headed to Duisburg, Germany, marking the first domestic and international scheduled China Europe freight train in the Yangtze River Delta.

It is reported that the China Europe freight train, which operates according to the agreed train numbers, routes, schedules, as well as fixed domestic and international departure, port, and destination times of various countries (regions) along the route, aims to promote more stable transportation efficiency, stronger competitiveness, and higher quality of China Europe freight trains, and ensure the stability and smoothness of their international supply and industrial chains.

The Yiwu West Railway Station, as the first starting (ending) station of a full schedule train in the Yangtze River Delta, operates one train per week for each return journey. The outbound journey departs from the Yiwu West Railway Station every Saturday and the return journey departs from Duisburg every Friday. It passes through countries (regions) such as China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, and Germany, covering a total distance of over 11500 kilometers, reducing the original 19 days to about 13 days.

Up to now, the Yiwu platform of China Europe Express has opened point-to-point direct international freight trains to 19 directions, including Spain, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia, Belarus, Latvia, Belgium, Lithuania, Vietnam, Ukraine, Laos, Türkiye, Georgia and five Central Asian countries, radiating more than 160 cities in 50 countries (regions) in Eurasia.
