China's pilot visa free policy for New Zealand, Australia, and Poland

On June 25th, it was learned from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that in order to further promote personnel exchanges between China and foreign countries, China has decided to expand the scope of visa free countries and implement a visa free policy for individuals holding ordinary passports in three countries: New Zealand, Australia, and Poland.

During the regular press conference on the same day, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning introduced relevant information in response to inquiries, stating that from July 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025, individuals holding ordinary passports from the aforementioned countries who come to China for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, and transit for no more than 15 days are eligible for visa free entry. Individuals from the aforementioned countries who do not meet the visa exemption requirements still need to apply for a visa to China before entering the country.

"At the same time, we urge relevant countries to provide more visa convenience for Chinese personnel," said Mao Ning.
