About Quality Control (QC): We still believe– You can't be wrong if you are careful enough.
I must emphasize again that quality control is very important for your procurement business. After more than ten years of purchasing in Yiwu market, I want to share with you the experience we learned.
Open each carton and each package and check as much as possible.
Don't let anyone who doesn't know your order products collect your orders and perform QC, unless they have physical samples on hand. We learned that: Open every carton and package without listening to any commitment from the supplier. Defective, wrong color, wrong printing and wrong packaging are always everywhere.
In addition, we suggest that if the buyer places an order by himself, it is better to ask for a sample or make a sample first, so that the quality control personnel can leave a physical sample. If there is no sample and no proofing, the supplier must confirm the product procurement requirements in a written contract. Including specific parameters, dimensions, positions, etc., so that they can be checked during receiving and inspection.
If you have enough time, you'd better visit the factory by yourself during the period of processing.
This can prevent many problematic products from being delivered to the buyer.
What we learned from these cases is “follow up orders with the same person”, trying to minimize these problems. Or there are “3 sets of physical samples” – one for the buyer, one for QC and one for factory production.
